The heating was inadequate during the night, making it quite chilly in the room despite it being winter.

It was just a great match for a quick stopover in Stirling with great value-to-price ratio. The room had a charming vintage feel, which added to the overall comfort. Make sure to check the heating arrangements ahead of time during colder months.

6/10
I tell ya what, that bed was comfortable and the shower was surprisingly good for a place like this. Location's real nice too, close to the town. Just wish breakfast was done a bit better, we had to wait ages for it and it wasn't worth the wait. If they could fix that dining situation, it’d be a whole lot better.

The breakfast options were diverse and locally-sourced, adding a unique touch to our stay.
The room we stayed in was quite small and cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably.

The location near Stirling was truly perfect for exploring. I loved the sizeable room with a stunning view. The facilities were pretty decent. The shower was surprisingly good, which made my stay more enjoyable. However, check-in was quite stressful. Parking wasn’t available right outside, and I had to climb several stairs with my luggage. There was confusion with the door code since I wasn’t given a room number. The bed itself was uncomfortable, which affected my sleep. Also, I noticed the WiFi didn't reach my room at all, which was inconvenient. There were no work desks either, making it tough if you need to do some tasks. The communication from the staff about breakfast payment needing cash was also lacking, which caught me by surprise. The host was friendly and provided some great local advice when I mentioned my check-in issues, which was nice.

Historic old building, central location, charming decor in rooms
Rooms tend to be excessively small, which can feel cramped!!! Stairs can be quite challenging, especially with luggage. Additionally, attention to detail in room cleanliness could use improvement, such as dusty furniture!!!

Charming old-school ambiance with a stunning view from the breakfast room. The owners are incredibly helpful, even offering rides to local attractions. While the Wi-Fi was spotty and there's limited reception for assistance, the warm atmosphere and delicious breakfast options certainly make it a worthwhile experience.
